Abstract: Bullying in school, which is a socially undesirable behaviour continues to gain heightened momentum amongst many concerned countries today. Given the serious 'spill over effects' of bullyin in Western countries such as the United States of America, Canada, United Kingdom as well as in Australia and New Zealand, the study investigated : The nature and seriousness of bullying in a Fiji secondary school. The use of a collective case study as well as phenomenology formed the main basis of the research study. Given the sensitive nature of the issue being investigated, a self anonymous questionnaire and unstructured interview were used to gather information.
