Abstract: This research investigates the structural and conformational changes that occur during crystallization in polyesters belonging to the succinate and adipate polymer series. The thesis starts with an overview about the reported studies on the structural and conformational changes taking place in polymers when subjected to changing physical parameters. It also emphasizes on the techniques used by other researchers to investigate changes occurring in polymers and outlines polymer applications in various fields of study. It also introduces the aim and objectives of this research.
