Abstract: In Fiji, Annona muricata (soursop) is used as a traditional medicine for treatment of cancer. This plant has been noted to consist of antioxidants which can help in fighting cancer. Many studies have confirmed that A. muricata processes an anti-cancer properties. This study focuses on the anti-cancer potential of the ethanolic extract of soursop fruit and leaves on breast and colon cancer cell lines, as breast and colon cancers are the two causes of deaths in Fiji.
