Abstract: This work examines the formability behavior of Aluminium (Al) preforms synthesized by the Powder Metallurgy (PM) manufacturing technique. PM route is simple, economic and ecological [1]. However, the presence of internal porosities after primary powder processing act as stress concentration and cracks initiates during high strength applications. Secondary deformation techniques tend to improve the densification of PM parts which subsequently enhances the mechanical properties and strength allowing better use for wide range of applications [2, 3].
